We specialize in both dogs and cats, with advanced handling for feline grooming, and also offer care for birds and small animals, including nail trims, beak maintenance, and wing trims. Every service is performed with intention, patience, and a focus on long-term health—not just appearance.

A restorative, coat-focused service designed for high-shedding dogs. This treatment begins with a gentle, skin-conscious bath using premium products, followed by the application of a leave-in conditioner to nourish the coat and support skin health.
The conditioner is carefully worked through using calming T-Touch techniques, promoting relaxation while enhancing circulation and coat quality. Each service includes a dedicated 20-minute brush out, ensuring the thorough removal of loose coat and undercoat for a clean, polished finish.
This service does not include trimming, allowing full focus on coat health, comfort, and effective de-shedding. Ideal for maintaining a soft, manageable coat between grooming appointments or supporting older pets who benefit from a more gentle, maintenance-focused experience.

Each service begins with a gentle, skin-conscious bath using premium, high-end products selected to support coat integrity and skin health, followed by a precise blowout to create the ideal foundation for finishing work.
We place a strong emphasis on hand scissoring, favoring a refined, custom finish that enhances natural structure and movement. Every groom is approached as an individual design, with attention to balance, softness, and detail—never rushed, never one-size-fits-all.
Our process is holistic and low-stress, with kennel-free handling and one-on-one care throughout the appointment. We welcome all breeds without discrimination and are experienced in working with anxious, sensitive, and more complex temperaments.
This is an all-inclusive service, incorporating nail care, ear cleaning, and full finishing work without add-on charges. The result is a polished, intentional groom that prioritizes both aesthetics and long-term coat health.

Dog Nail Cut & Grind
A refined approach to nail care that prioritizes comfort, safety, and long-term joint health. Each service includes both trimming and gentle grinding, allowing us to shorten the nail gradually while smoothing and shaping the edges for a clean, natural finish.
By combining these techniques, we reduce the likelihood of contacting the quick, helping to avoid the discomfort that can occur with accidental over-trimming. Grinding also allows us to round and contour the nail, encouraging more natural wear between visits and minimizing sharp edges that can catch, split, or cause injury.
Proper nail maintenance plays an important role in preventing strain on the toes, joints, and overall posture, especially for dogs that are active or aging.
Our handling is calm and intentional, using minimal restraint whenever possible to keep the experience low-stress and controlled. For senior dogs or those with mobility or joint concerns, we offer supportive accommodations, including a grooming support hammock when appropriate, to ensure stability and comfort throughout the service.

Cat Grooming Services
All cat grooming services at PetHouse begin with our foundational Bath & Brush Out, establishing a clean, balanced coat before any additional work is performed. This ensures the skin and coat are properly prepared, allowing for safer, more precise grooming and helping to prevent irritation or further matting.
Each service starts with a calm, skin-conscious bath using Chris Christensen cat-specific products, selected to preserve coat integrity while supporting overall skin health. A lightweight leave-in conditioner is then applied and worked through the coat using gentle, controlled techniques to enhance manageability and comfort.
For cats who do not tolerate traditional blow drying—or those who are especially delicate, senior, or more sensitive—we utilize a temperature-controlled drying chamber. This provides a quiet, enclosed environment for even, low-stress drying, with integrated red light therapy to promote relaxation and overall comfort throughout the process.
Our handling approach is intentionally low-stress. We practice minimal restraint whenever possible, recognizing that excessive restraint often increases anxiety. Instead, we work with each cat’s natural behavior, using patience, positioning, and experience to create a more controlled and comfortable grooming experience.
A thorough, dedicated brush out follows to carefully remove loose coat and undercoat, creating a clean, manageable foundation for any additional grooming work.
From this base service, we offer tailored grooming options including sanitary trims, lion cuts, and matting removal. Each is performed with precision and care, always prioritizing the cat’s comfort, safety, and overall wellbeing.

Service Note
Nail care is available as its own standalone service, including nail trims and nail trims with soft caps. While these options are booked separately, all full grooming services—including the Bath & Brush Out, Sanitary Trim, and Lion Cut—do include a nail trim as part of the overall service.

Thoughtful, precision care designed specifically for companion birds, with an emphasis on safety, control, and low-stress handling. Each service is performed with a calm, experienced approach that prioritizes the bird’s comfort while maintaining proper grooming standards.
Wing Trimming is done conservatively to support safer flight within the home while still allowing for controlled movement and balance. Each trim is tailored to the individual bird’s size, strength, and environment.
Nail Trimming is performed carefully to maintain proper foot health and grip, helping to prevent overgrowth, snagging, and discomfort.
Beak Trimming & Grinding is completed only when necessary, using precise techniques to gently shape and maintain the beak while preserving its natural structure and function.
All avian services are carried out with minimal restraint whenever possible, recognizing that excessive handling can increase stress. Our goal is a controlled, efficient, and respectful experience that supports both the health and wellbeing of your bird.
